Winter Fun With Your Kids

It's cold and it's wet out there! As mums, it can be challenging to find things to do during the Winter season, especially with kids bursting with energy right?!

While it's tempting to stay bundled up at home, there are plenty of things you can do with your little ones, so they can stay active during the chilly season.

While it's sometimes tricky to do outdoor activities during winter, bundle up your little ones for a stroll out in the park or garden. You can gather sticks, leaves, and stones, which can be later used for arts and crafts, or sorting activities.

On wet days, your girls can dress up in their rain coats and boots, find some puddles to jump around in, and go for it!

If the weather is simply too cold or too wet to go outside, spending time indoors doesn't have to be boring at all. You can play dress up with your girls (in Oobi of course!), set up an indoor treasure hunt, or even build a playhouse from blankets, pillows, and boxes.

You can cook up a storm in the kitchen, baking cookies and other treats, and then enjoy eating them with hot chocolate after all of your hard work.

If your little ones get fussy at home, but it's way too cold outside, there's always the option of skating at an indoor ice rink, visiting a museum, or going to an indoor play centre - yippee! Or hit up local leisure centres with indoor heated pools - your little ones will feel like it's summer already!

Regardless of how you spend your winter days, don't forget to keep your little ones snuggled up in their winter clothing! We hope you have fun whilst staying dry and warm.
