Oobi uses 25% organic, 35% recycled cotton, and the rest is raw unbleached cotton that we dye using vegetable dyes and treat with a non enzyme wash and salt to secure the colour in a non-polluting way. 

 

Wherever possible we use biodegradable bags for packaging and have a zero waste office and a low waste warehouse, including always bringing our garments in by sea - because only Rockstars need private jets. 

You’ll also notice that we don’t include paper invoices or useless cards or printed materials in our orders that just contribute to landfill. 

This year for the Christmas season we will also bring back our eco gift wrapping so that your Christmas gift can be thoughtful AND kind to the planet. 

Oobi is proudly slow fashion and are always striving to innovate in the industry which is why we have scored a Good on You rating of which we are extremely proud. 

Each collection takes about 12 months from design to launch because we put the needs of our team first and we never require any weekend or evening work from our seamstresses or managers, allowing them time to career build or be with their friends and family. As a 💯 women run, founded and factory lead team, we understand priorities.
