What sizes are available in Oobi’s girls’ dresses?

Our dresses come in sizes 1Y to 12Y, though the range varies by style. Every dress has its own size guide, and our team is happy to help on chat if you’re stuck between two.

What are the best girls’ dresses for everyday wear?

The ones she’ll actually wear! Look for breathable cotton, room to run and pockets for treasures. Most of ours tick all three, and they wash beautifully, so the favourite can go round again tomorrow.

Are cotton dresses suitable for sensitive skin?

Our dresses are 100% cotton (tutus aside, and their tulle is lined) and coloured with vegetable dyes, which many families with sensitive little ones love. Every child is different though, so check the fabric details on each dress.

What makes Oobi’s girls’ dresses different?

Every print starts as a hand-drawn doodle by our founder Alex in Sydney, then gets hand-printed on cotton by our makers in Jaipur. Bright, original prints you won’t see on anyone else at the party.

Are Oobi dresses machine washable?

Yes, every Oobi dress can go in the washing machine. Check the label for the right temperature, and wash inside out to keep those prints bright for years.

Some dresses are for special occasions. Ours are for the whole lot: the birthday party, the Tuesday playground run, the twirl test in the kitchen and the 47th wear she insists on this week. Every Oobi dress starts as a doodle in our Sydney studio and is hand-printed in 100% cotton by our makers in Jaipur, so you won’t find these prints anywhere else.
