The City Of Sydney came in to Oobi HQ at the beginning of April to interview Alex about her Business award wins for the NSW Business Chamber Awards. 

Designer and founder Alexandra Riggs was also invited to speak at Town Hall recently and was interviewed by Shark Tank Host and Red Balloon Founder, Naomi Simpson.

The Sydney City Business Awards celebrate and recognise business excellence in the Sydney City region. These awards showcase the outstanding achievements of the many small to medium size businesses in central Sydney who play an important role in the local economy.

The awards recognise business excellence in a number of key areas including innovation, environmental practices, employee conditions, ethics and leadership.

Oobi won in both categories including taking the top honour of City of Sydney Business of the Year - quite the achievement for a small fashion business! 

 Lord Mayor Clover Moore presented Alex and the Oobi Team with the top award and has been an incredible supporter of not only small business, but Oobi itself! We #fangirl all over the place when Clover's around.
