Are Oobi's Dresses 100% Cotton?

Yes! Always, we only use 100% cotton for our summer and winter dresses. However please note that our tutus use tulle and in that case the tulle is lined with a cotton lining.

Do Your Summer Dresses Offer Sun Protection?

Sun protection is super important to us! Over 90% of our dresses offer either a short sleeve or a cap sleeve to ensure that the shoulders have sun coverage. Oobi also use a high quality cotton poplin for most of our dresses which means that there is more than average for a cotton or lightweight dress. Our stretch jersey dresses are made from a double jersey which is breathable in summer but thicker than other brands or generic or lightweight cotton.

Do You Offer Dresses for Bigger Girls?

Absolutely! Oobi's dresses are sized up to 12 years and our "Mum & Me" dresses start at size Small which is suitable for a tween or teenager. We are also very conscious that girls come in different heights and measurements and we cater to everyone. Whether that is a more generous cut, a little extra room in the shoulders for great arm movement, or a swingy easy to wear style. Everything we make is made with comfort in mind and with patterns made specifically for Aussie standards so they are usually slightly bigger than imported garments. What's the Best Fabric for My Daughter?

It depends on her taste and style, but rest assured, all Oobi dresses are made from 100% cotton.

Our jersey dresses have some natural stretch. They are pre-shrunk so you can throw them in the washing machine without worrying that they'll go out of shape.

Our woven cotton dresses usually have a zipper at the back or are a loose, swingy fit that can be just popped over her head. Every garment has a size guide and also our fit notes and we have loads of reviews too that help.

My Daughter Has Allergies - Is Oobi Suitable for Her?

Yes! Our dresses are made from 100% cotton (except tulle in tutus - however these are lined).

We use only vegetable dyes when we hand-print our fabrics and they are washed using a natural enzyme and salt, not chemicals, to cure and set the dyes.

What makes Oobi dresses different?

How do I wash my Oobi dress?
