Swan Song

Hi everyone, I'm hope you're as excited as we are for 'Swan Song' our sweet little swan print, hand coloured and hand printed with garments made to make you and your little one smile.

Swan Song is coming in two parts, but those parts form one story - a magical, whimsical and childlike one. Thanks for your patience with part two, we kinda got carried away with the range and it is extremely time consuming to produce, especially coats and homewares - and I don't have an 'off' switch when it comes to design!

Don't fear, we will do a 'free shipping' day for part two so that you don't have to worry about that!

By the way, this print was designed in collaboration with designer Maria Art and we are pretty excited about this fairytale story... We love to collaborate with young designers and create something truly special for us all.

PART ONE

Dahlia is Oobi all-over. Amazing touches that I believe set us apart and show our skills in construction and also in the loving care we put into the added extra details. The lace is 100% cotton crochet, hand-dyed by dipping to ensure that the colours match the print perfectly.

Dahlia is beautifully made, and will look as good on the inside as the outside. It's got a zipper back that goes through the seam to ensure that your little one feels comfortable and so that it's easy to wear. At the shoulders we've added a little flutter... because that's like the fluttery beat of our hearts.

We're loving Dahlia for girls of all ages so created this lovely up to 12 years. The Chelsea jacket also goes to 12 and looks AMAZING with the Dahlia dress for a complete look.

We released another version of the Chelsea Jacket last year and it was an instant sell-out. We're absolutely thrilled to bring it back as there's not a single one of us Oobis that doesn't have a denim jacket for all seasons. And they're just the coolest and most practical pieces. Light enough for summer and spring, snuggly enough for autumn and winter.

The front panel has sweet little button features and piping for a little treat and at the wrists there's a very soft and gentle elastic to give the sleeves more volume (and so that they can be pushed up if need-be). We're pretty delighted with this style.

Size 2Y (our biggest size in this style, not shown, only sets are shown) is just above the knee length and is such a sweet 'little girl' style that we just smile whenever we see it.

Paige is so sweet, it's fully smocked at the front and has a zipper at the back and long ties (really just for effect and because they look so pretty!) but if your little one is petite, they are perfect for tightening the sweet style.

I'm so excited by our homewares range this season and especially all the attention to detail. For example, the little cut-out swans for our amazing new bunting, and, if you look closely, each panel of the quilt with a swan has been cut precisely so that they all have a little face. No 'bulk' cutting or laser cutting here - we design for longevity and for you to pass on these heirlooms for the children of your children to adore too.

Just keep rolling those sleeves down because it's not just lined, it's FULLY lined in the body and also the sleeves. Amazing. I designed it so that the sleeves are a bit 'too long' and are folded up so you can see the lining. But, as your little one grows, just roll them down for years of wear.
