Christmas Dresses for Girls 2026: Twirl-Tested, Pudding-Approved

A Christmas dress has a big job. It has to look like Christmas in the photos, survive a backyard cricket match, and still have room after the pudding (OK, we know 99.999% of kids don't eat the pudding, but Nan will still want her to "at least try a bite"). Ours are 100% cotton (it's December in Australia), designed by Alex, and twirl-tested by people who take twirling very seriously.

For the twirler

If she judges a dress by how far it flies when she spins, start here. The Cherry Gingham Tutu Dress has butter-soft red tulle over a fully lined skirt, so there's nothing scratchy. FAQs

What size should I buy?
Most Oobi dresses are true to size for average-height kids. Each product page has a size chart and a fit note. If she's tall or between sizes, size up for more wear.

Are tutu dresses scratchy?
Ours aren't. The tulle is soft, and the skirts are fully cotton-lined, so only cotton touches her legs.

Will they wash well after Christmas lunch?
Yes. They're machine washable. We'd recommend a cold or warm wash to keep the colours bright.
